I really like the size, height, and overall appearance of the product. It makes a statement and fills an area that lower height tables do not.
That said during the unpacking and assembly it was apparent that the paint quality was nowhere near as nice as other products I've seen. There were lots of chips that were visible in areas where you could tell the product had not even been rubbed or bumped during transportation. It seems that during the painting process the product is either not primed properly or there may be some oil on the product which stops good paint adhesion.
Because we like the set we will likely try to make it work and not return it. I'm only hoping that after a year's use it doesn't look like Sh**.
