Planning the island

The size in each title is the unit's nominal width. Frame each opening to the cutout listed on the product page or in the Blaze spec sheet, and confirm it before the countertop and cladding go on. Under a built-in grill, Blaze islands need vents for the gas type, so plan door and drawer positions around the vent panels. The BLZ-ISLAND-VENT covers a vent opening in stainless.

Blaze outdoor kitchen storage FAQ

Can I store a propane tank in a Blaze drawer?

Yes, in the 20-inch BLZ-TRLP-DRW-H roll-out drawer, which is made to hold either a trash bin or a propane tank. Follow the grill manual's island venting rules for propane.

How do I choose the right door size?

Measure the opening in your island, then match it to the cutout on the product page, not the nominal width in the title. Blaze double doors come in 25, 32 and 40-inch widths.

Which Blaze storage has lighting and soft-close drawers?

The 39-inch access door and triple drawer combo (BLZ-DDC-R-39-LTSC) has LED lighting and soft-close drawers.

Is there a sealed option for dry goods?

Yes. The 32-inch BLZ-DRY-STG2-SC is a sealed stainless dry storage pantry with a shelf, made to keep supplies dry in an outdoor island.
