Description
The Whistler Grills 28-inch 3-burner built-in gas grill (CBB3) is the compact head in the Whistler line, sized for an island where counter space is tight. Three cast stainless steel burners give 45,000 BTU across 494 sq. in. of main cooking area, with a 170 sq. in. warming rack above.
A 12,000 BTU ceramic infrared rear burner handles the rotisserie, and the rotisserie kit and a grill cover ship free with it. Choose propane or natural gas above.
Want it freestanding? Pair it with the CBB3 Cart, or build it into a combustible island with the 3-burner insulating jacket.
Whistler Grills is the current name of the Bonfire line from the same manufacturer, Bonfire Production Corp.; this model was previously sold as Bonfire.

Features
- 45,000 BTU on the main grates: 3 cast stainless steel burners at 15,000 BTU each, under 3 stainless steel flame tamers.
- Rotisserie ready: 12,000 BTU ceramic infrared rear burner; rotisserie kit included.
- Double-lined hood: heavy-gauge 304 stainless steel with mirror-finish edging and a built-in thermometer.
- Lit for night cooking: two internal halogen lights and a curved control panel with blue LED knob lights.
- Fully welded 304 stainless firebox: with 2 stainless steel cooking grates and a full-size stainless drip tray.
- Grill cover included: free with the grill.

Installation planning
- Cut-out: 26 5/8" W x 20 1/16" D x 10 1/8" H. Whistler's cut-out drawing adds 3 1/2" behind the opening so the hood can open fully.
- The control panel sits flush against the front wall of the island. If the countertop overhangs the front wall, cut it back flush across the width of the control panel.
- Build it into a non-combustible enclosure (masonry, stone, steel). For an island framed with combustible materials, use the 3-burner insulating jacket.
- Leave openings in the island for drainage, replacement air and cross-ventilation. A propane tank stored in the island needs its own vented compartment, isolated from the grill.
- The lights run on the included transformer. Mount it at least 6" above the ground and plug it into a GFCI outlet (not included).
- Propane: use the supplied regulator and hose without alteration. Natural gas: no regulator is needed at the grill; connect it through a shut-off valve. Whistler strongly recommends professional installation and gas hookup.
- Rear burner: ceramic infrared, for rotisserie cooking with the hood closed. Don't run it with the main burners on, and take the warming rack out first.
Warranty
Whistler / Bonfire limited warranty for the original owner (not transferable), residential use in the US or Canada: limited lifetime on the cast stainless steel burners, stainless steel cooking grates and stainless steel housing; 3 years on the infrared rear burner, cast brass side burner, knobs, brass valves, drip pans, flame tamers and warming rack; 1 year on all component parts, the ignition system (batteries excluded) and electronics, including lights and thermometers. Under the lifetime and 3-year terms the part is repaired or replaced free, and the owner pays labor and freight. Harsh detergents or degreasers void the warranty.
