Description

No longer available: the Prelude LBM 25 has been replaced by the Blaze BCM 25-inch 3-burner gas grill (BLZ-3BCM). Blaze's current 25-inch model keeps the same 3 x 14,000 BTU (42,000 BTU) output, the same 558 sq. in. of total cooking space and the same 23-1/4" W x 21-1/4" D x 8-1/2" H built-in cut-out. What changes: cast 304 stainless steel burners instead of tube burners, heavier 9 mm triangular cooking rods instead of 8 mm round rods, tri-baffle flame tamers, and a hood with integrated sound dampers. The 25-inch grill cart (BLZ-3-CART-SC) is still sold separately; Blaze has not yet listed the BCM 25 as a fit for it, so ask us to confirm before ordering the pair.

This package paired the Blaze Prelude LBM 25 (BLZ-3LBM), a 25-inch gas grill with three commercial-quality 304 stainless steel tube burners at 14,000 BTU each (42,000 BTU), with Blaze's stainless steel grill cart for 25-inch gas grills (BLZ-3-CART-SC), so the grill stands on its own on a patio. The 22-3/8" x 18" cooking grid and warming rack give 558 sq. in. of total cooking space, with 8 mm rounded stainless steel rods, flame-stabilizing grids, heat zone separators and a full-width drip tray under a double-lined hood. The cart adds two soft-close doors over a cabinet for the propane tank, cover and tools, two 11" x 22" side shelves and four heavy-duty casters. The specifications, assembly notes, care steps and warranty terms below stay here for LBM owners.

  • BLZ-3LBM 25-inch grill head with double-lined hood and 3 tube burners
  • Rod cooking grids and warming rack
  • Flame-stabilizing grids and heat zone separators
  • Full-width drip tray
  • Propane models: hose and regulator with 3/8" flare fitting. Natural gas models: regulator set to 4" water column
  • BLZ-3-CART-SC cart: upper back panel (BLZ-25C-010), bottom back panel (BLZ-25C-007), bottom panel (BLZ-25C-001), front strut (BLZ-25C-004), left and right side panels, left and right doors (BLZ-25C-015LD SC / RD SC), two side shelves (BLZ-32C-016), soft-close hinges (BLZ-AD32-007), door stop (BLZ-AD25R-004SC), handles (BLZ-D/DR-2), four casters (BLZ-32C-022), propane block and locking bolt, and hardware pack (BLZ-CART-HARDWARE); assembly required

Installation planning

  • Cart assembly: hand tools only, with a #2 Phillips screwdriver (not included); Blaze warns that power tools can damage or loosen the threaded inserts. A second person is recommended. Protect the parts from scratches and peel the protective film. Fit the four casters to the bottom panel and lock them; attach the side panels, then the bottom and upper back panels; fit the propane block (four screws through the cart bottom) and the propane locking bolt; attach the handles, soft-close hinges and doors, the front strut and both side shelves; then set the grill in place, push the upper back panel into the slot on the back of the grill to lock it, fit the locking screws on each side and tighten every screw. Place the grill in the cart only after all the steps are done.
  • Clearances: 14" from combustible construction at the sides and 16" at the back; the 5" needed behind the grill for the lid does not replace the 16" back clearance. Keep at least 6 feet between the grill and any overhead construction; under combustible overhead construction a vent hood must protect it.
  • Propane: one standard 20 lb cylinder (12-1/4" diameter x 18" high) with a QCC-1 valve and overfill prevention device, never stored indoors. Connect the 3/8" flare fitting with a 3/4" wrench. Supply pressure above about 0.5 PSI (14" water column) needs extra regulation. Natural gas: a flex connector of at least 1/2" diameter; the regulator is set to 4" water column.
  • All gas connections must be made by a qualified installer; incorrect installation voids the warranty. Fuel conversion is for a licensed gas professional only: remove the cotter pins and burners, change the brass orifices with a 6 mm socket without overtightening, then adjust the air shutters until the flames are mostly blue.
  • Any extension cord must be outdoor-rated, rated at least as high as the appliance and kept away from hot surfaces and sharp edges; the appliance must be grounded.

Care: Let the grill cool completely before cleaning. Scrub and polish the exterior along the grain of the stainless steel, using a non-metallic pad and stainless cleaner for baked-on food, and dry it before covering. Clean the drip tray after each use with hot soapy water. To clean grates, flame tamers and heat separators, run the main burners on high for 10 to 15 minutes with the hood closed, then brush with a stainless steel brush. To clean the burners, remove the cotter pins and burners and clear the ports and inlets with a wire brush; check for spider and insect nests before each use.

Warranty

Grill, residential use: Blaze lifetime warranty on the main burners, cooking grids, body, flame tamers and heat zone separators, warming rack and valves; 1 year on ignition, electronics and lighting systems. Multi-user settings (for example apartments, hotels and fire stations): 3 years on the stainless housing, burners, rod grids, brass valves, inner liners and manifolds, and 90 days on all other components; restaurant use is not covered.

Cart: Blaze lifetime warranty to the original owner against defects in manufacturing and workmanship, for ordinary single-family home use.

Register the grill with Blaze within 30 days of purchase and keep the original receipt; the warranty does not transfer to a new owner. Installation by a qualified installer is required, and incorrect installation voids the warranty. Discoloration, surface rust and rust are not covered unless there is structural loss or rust-through (causes include chlorine, fertilizer, salt and high-heat use). The owner pays shipping for warranty parts. Full terms, including labor, are in the LBM use and care guide.
