Description
The Primo Stainless Steel Side Shelves for Oval Junior 200 (PG00319, Primo part #319) are a left and a right stainless steel shelf that mount on brackets to Primo's Junior cart base PG00318, giving you landing space for food, plates and tools on both sides of the grill. Primo lists them as requiring the PG00318 cart; they are not made for the XL and Large cart or the cradle stands.
They are sized for the Oval Junior 200 PGCJRH, and the Junior brackets have a single set of holes, so there is no size setting to choose (Primo side table instructions). Plan ahead: the cart and the grill are not included. The shelves fit by hand with an adjustable or 10 mm wrench and a large Phillips screwdriver; Primo says not to use power drivers, drills or impact wrenches. Primo does not publish the shelf size or weight; ask us for them before you order.
Features
- Two stainless steel shelves: a left and a right shelf give you prep and landing space on both sides of the Junior.
- Junior-specific brackets: single-hole brackets set the shelves in the one position made for the Oval Junior 200.
- Made for the PG00318 cart: four brackets (two left-hand, two right-hand) fasten to the cart frame with M6 x 20 screws.
- Stainless hardware: eight M6 x 20 stainless Phillips screws hold the shelves to the brackets, four per shelf.
- Hand-tool install: an adjustable or 10 mm wrench and a large Phillips screwdriver are all you need.

Installation planning
- Before you start: unpack and check every part against the parts list, and handle the metal parts with care, as some may have sharp edges.
- Assembly (Primo): (1) remove the four end caps from the cart frame if they are fitted; (2) fasten the four brackets to the cart frame with M6 x 20 screws, finger tight only; (3) fit the shelves over the brackets and frame (Junior brackets have a single set of holes); (4) line up the shelf and bracket holes, finger-tighten the four Phillips screws on each shelf without cross-threading, then tighten them fully with the screwdriver; (5) when both shelves are on, tighten the brackets to the cart frame.
- Third-hole brackets: some carts ship with brackets that have a third hole facing the side of the cart. That outermost hole, away from the cart center, takes an M6 x 16 flat head Phillips screw.
- Tools: hand tools only. Primo says powered screwdrivers, drills or impact wrenches can damage the cart.
- Grill placement: Primo's Junior spec sheet asks for 10 in. of space behind the grill so the lid can open fully, and at least 2 in. around the outside of the grill.
Care: Primo's warranty asks owners to tighten bolts regularly; check the bracket and shelf screws from time to time. Weather, moisture, salt and chemicals can mark metal parts, so a cover helps when the grill is not in use.
Warranty
Primo Ceramic Grills' warranty page does not name its side shelves. Its general terms give a limited 1-year rust-through warranty on all cast iron parts and on "all other parts and accessories" unless stated otherwise, alongside the limited lifetime warranty on ceramic parts and the limited 5-year rust-through warranty on metal parts other than cast iron. Ask us to confirm the coverage for these shelves before you order.
Primo's conditions: coverage is for the original purchaser; the product must be installed according to Primo's instructions; keep a bill of sale or payment record. Weather, moisture, salt, scratches and chemicals can affect metal parts, and rust, fading, surface blemishes and oxidation are not covered unless they cause a part to fail. Replacement parts ship at the purchaser's expense. Not covered: damage from use, misuse, improper installation or storage, unauthorized service or parts, lack of maintenance (including not tightening bolts regularly), removal and reinstallation, service calls, labor, travel, diagnostic and freight charges. Claims go through your dealer with the model number and proof of purchase, or through Primo's online warranty claim form; international claims are not accepted.
