Description

The Blaze BLZ-60-FTABLE is a 60-inch rectangular gas fire pit table, 30" W x 60" L x 19" H, handcrafted in the USA from glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) in Blaze's Phantom finish. A USA-made brass burner puts out 60,000 BTU per hour on propane or natural gas, with flames that run about 8 to 14 inches high, and black lava rock and a protective cover come with it.

Choose the fuel when you order; each version is factory set and cannot be converted. The propane version hides an 11 lb tank (included, shipped empty) behind a front access door, with a 10 ft hose and regulator, and runs about 4 to 22 hours per tank from high to low. The natural gas version comes with an 8 ft hose and quick-connect socket for a professionally installed gas line. It lights with a match or long lighter and a key valve, and GFRC is a hand-finished material, so each table's color varies slightly.

For a round fire feature in the same Phantom finish, see the 38-inch round concrete fire bowl (BLZ-38-FBOWL).

Plan before you order: it weighs 252 lb (370 lb shipped), it is for outdoor use only, and it needs 60" of clearance above and 48" on every side to anything combustible, with no roof, pergola or branches overhead. Blaze rates it for winds up to 10 mph. The natural gas version needs a qualified installer and a shut-off valve at the supply.

Installation planning

  • Outdoor use only. Clearance to combustible materials: 60" above and 48" on all sides. Do not place it under any overhead structure or vegetation.
  • Set it on its four feet: do not remove them, do not block or seal the gap between the table and the ground, and do not fix it permanently to the ground. Blaze's product page states it can be used on a wooden deck.
  • Propane: fill the 11 lb tank at a certified LP dealer (never above 80%), set it upright just inside the access door and secure it with the tank-seat thumbscrew. Coil the hose next to the door, keep it at least 1" from the bottom of the burn pan, and keep the regulator vent from pointing up. Store spare tanks away from the table.
  • Natural gas: installation by a qualified installer, service agency or gas supplier (Blaze recommends NFI-certified gas specialists), with a professionally installed shut-off valve between the supply piping and the quick-connect socket, which must be outdoors. Do not bury the hose; it must be visible for inspection before each use.
  • Before first use and after any connection, leak test with 1 part dish soap to 3 parts water; no bubbles after 1 minute is a pass. Never use a flame to check for leaks.
  • Do not use it in winds over 10 mph. Keep the fire media no more than 1" above the burner tube and clear of the igniter housing, never light wet media, and stay at least 20 minutes away during the first start-up while moisture burns off.
  • If it does not light within 15 seconds, turn the key off, shut the gas off and wait at least 5 minutes before trying again.

Care: Inspect only when it is cool. Clean with mild soap and water and a soft cloth, never oven cleaners or abrasives; soot usually comes off the same way. Reseal the table surface once a year with a water-based sealer; slight discoloration with use is normal. Check the burner ports and tube for spider webs and nests, clearing them with a paper clip, pipe brush or compressed air, and replace any damaged hose with a Blaze-specified assembly. Cover it when not in use without letting water pool on the cover, disconnect and store the propane tank upright outdoors in a cool, dry place, and avoid using it in extreme cold, which lowers tank pressure and flame height.

Warranty

Blaze covers the fire table body for 5 years, internal components for 2 years and the burner system with a limited lifetime warranty. Coverage is for the original purchaser who bought from an authorized Blaze dealer, is not transferable and needs proof of purchase; internal-component claims start with troubleshooting with Blaze Customer Service. Blaze may replace the part, replace the product or refund the purchase price, and does not pay for installation, labor or reinstallation. Shipping damage, improper assembly, installation or storage, non-code installations, misuse, lack of maintenance, hostile environments, weather, modifications, non-approved fuels and third-party parts are excluded, as are scratches, dents, rust, corrosion, heat discoloration or cracking and damage from harsh cleaners. Blaze also states it is not responsible for damage caused by freezing weather. Register the product at blazegrills.com/support/register-your-product. Full terms are in the manuals below.
