Description
The Bull Slide-In Pro Single Side Burner (model 60018 propane, 60019 natural gas) is one 25,000 BTU brass burner in a compact 304 stainless steel slide-in body, about 12-7/8 in. square. It is built for the jobs a grill does badly next to it: boiling stock, heating sauces and sauteing, with a removable wok ring that holds a round-bottom wok steady and a stainless steel cover that closes over it between uses.
It lights with a push-and-turn knob and a spark igniter; if the igniter fails, you can light it by hand with a long-necked lighter. The two-piece burner lifts out without tools for cleaning. Choose propane or natural gas above; the valve is set at the factory for one fuel.
Plan before ordering: it needs a 12-3/16 in. W x 12 in. D x 9-1/2 in. H cut-out in a non-combustible island and 21 in. of clearance to combustibles at the sides and back. On propane it tees into the grill's line after the grill's regulator, so place it within reach of that line; on natural gas your gas fitter supplies the regulator (4 in. water column), hose and shut-off valve.
- Model: 60018 (propane) / 60019 (natural gas)
- Output: 25,000 BTU, 1 brass burner
- Cut-out: 12-3/16 in. W x 12 in. D x 9-1/2 in. H

Features
- 25,000 BTU brass burner: high heat for fast boiling, sauteing and wok cooking off the grill.
- Removable wok ring: holds a round-bottom wok steady; lift it off for flat pans.
- Stainless steel cover: closes over the burner to keep out rain and debris.
- Compact slide-in body: about 12-7/8 in. square, for a tight spot in the island.
- Tool-free burner removal: the two-piece burner lifts out of its base for cleaning.
- Spark ignition with manual backup: push and turn to light; a long-necked lighter works if the igniter fails.

What's included
- Slide-in Pro side burner with stainless steel cover
- Removable wok ring
- Propane models: regulator hose assembly (16589) and 3/8 in. flare tee

Not included: the propane cylinder, and on natural gas models the regulator, hose and shut-off valve (installer-supplied).
Sold separately
- Propane cylinder retention system (16674), for an island that holds the tank
- Finishing frame: ask us. Bull's 2022 spec sheet names frame 93007, but Bull lists 93007 for the double side burner and searing station, so we are confirming the correct frame with Bull
Installation planning
- Cut-out: 12-3/16 in. W x 12 in. D x 9-1/2 in. H. Overall size 12-7/8 in. W x 12-7/8 in. D x 9-1/8 in. H. Have a qualified installer and a licensed gas fitter do the work.
- Location: outdoor use only. Never use it in a building, garage or other enclosed area, or in or on a boat or recreational vehicle. Do not operate it below 0°F (-17°C).
- Clearances: keep 21 in. between the sides and back of the burner and any combustible material. Under an overhead combustible structure, a UL 710 listed heavy-duty vent hood must be installed and running whenever the burner is in use.
- Enclosure: build it into an island made only of non-combustible materials. If the island also holds a propane cylinder, the cylinder compartment must be separate from the burner (a flame barrier and radiation shield), hold only one 20 lb cylinder, sit at least 2 in. above the ground and be vented: either one fully open side, or for a four-sided compartment an upper vent within 5 in. of the top with at least 20 sq in. free area and a lower vent at floor level (top edge no more than 5 in. above the floor) with at least 10 sq in. free area. Bull recommends vents at the top and bottom of every exposed side, and a cylinder retention system (16674).
- Gas, propane: the burner runs at 11 in. water column and tees into an existing propane line after that appliance's regulator through a 3/8 in. flare tee (3/8 in. is the tube outside diameter, not the thread size), with Bull regulator hose assembly 16589. It is designed for a standard 20 lb cylinder with a Type 1 connection; never connect an unregulated cylinder.
- Gas, natural gas: the burner has a 3/8 in. male flare inlet and ships with no regulator or hoses. The installer supplies a regulator that holds 4 in. water column at its outlet, the hose and a safety shut-off valve, all to ANSI Z21.75 / CSA 6.27 and local codes. No thread tape or sealant on flare ends; gas-rated sealant on the first three threads of male pipe threads only. Disconnect the burner from the supply piping for pressure tests above 1/2 psi.
- Fuel: the valves are factory set for propane or natural gas, so order the right fuel. Bull sells conversion kits only to gas professionals.
- Leak test: after installation, before first use, at the start of every season and every time a cylinder is connected, spray every joint from the supply to the burner with a 1:1 mix of liquid detergent and water (or a MIL-L-25567D leak detector). Bubbles or a rotten-egg smell mean a leak; never test with a flame.
Care: Check the flame: blue, steady and quiet, yellow only at the tips. Inspect and clean the burner at least monthly and after the burner sits unused, because spiders and insects nest in burners and can cause a flashback fire; lift the two-piece burner out of its base, clear the ports with a wire brush, and seat the top back on the base correctly before use, then check for a blue spark at the igniter. Wash the grate and wok ring with mild soap and warm water. Once a year, turn off and disconnect the gas, remove the grate and burner, cover the venturi opening with foil, scrub the inside with a stiff wire brush, wash, rinse and dry. Stainless steel is not rust-proof: clean it regularly near pools, fertilizer and humid or salty air. Wait five minutes before relighting a burner that did not light, and turn the gas off at the source when you finish. If you smell gas, shut it off, put out any flame, open the lid, and call your gas supplier or fire department if the smell stays.
Warranty
Bull's warranty for its single side burners (Bull warranty policy v2026.10.29 and the owner's manual): 5 years on the grates, 3 years on the burner and 1 year on all other parts. Bull's limited warranty runs from the date of purchase and covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser at the original site of delivery or installation; it does not transfer to a later owner and does not cover rental, commercial or other non-residential use. Bull replaces the defective part or product free of charge at its discretion, but does not pay shipping or labor. Damage from transport, storage, improper installation or use, the wrong fuel or gas supply, skipped maintenance, modifications, normal wear (including rust, corrosion, oxidation or discoloration) and outside causes is not covered.
Register the burner with Bull online or with the card in the shipping box, and keep your receipt. Warranty claims go to Bull customer service at bullbbq.com/support or (800) 521-2855 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern).
