Description
The LuxCraft Trash Can (PTC) is a poly lumber outdoor waste enclosure for outdoor kitchens, patios, parks, resorts and commercial seating areas. It has a clean, enclosed design in the same weatherproof poly lumber LuxCraft uses for its outdoor furniture, with stainless steel hardware at key structural points.
It measures 30.5" W x 30.5" D x 44" H and weighs 120 lb. The inside opening is 20.25" x 20.25" x 27.5" and takes a 32-gallon liner. The liner is not included.
LuxCraft builds it in an Ohio Amish Country workshop from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) poly lumber that is over 90% recycled post-consumer material by weight. The color is UV-stabilized, and the poly resists moisture, splintering, warping and insects with no painting, staining or rust treatment.
Before you order: plan a 30.5" x 30.5" spot, buy 32-gallon liners separately, and allow for the 120 lb weight. Assembly is required.

Placement and care

- LuxCraft does not publish the lid or door design, assembly steps or a parts list on its site.
Care: LuxCraft poly lumber needs no staining, sealing or painting. Brush off dirt and debris and rinse with a hose; for tougher stains, scrub gently with mild soap and water and rinse well. Avoid strong cleaners and harsh chemicals. LuxCraft recommends its Poly-Brite Cleaning Kit (PBCK); Poly-Brite 32 oz (POLBRI) is also sold on its own. In extreme conditions such as coastal areas, the stainless steel fasteners can rust if they are not maintained.
Warranty
LuxCraft gives a limited lifetime warranty for residential use and a 5-year limited warranty for commercial use, covering defective products or parts from the date of purchase. After inspecting the item and confirming an original defect, LuxCraft decides whether to repair or replace it; if the model is no longer made, it substitutes a product of similar performance and equal or greater value. The stainless steel fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the same period, but they can rust in extreme conditions such as coastal areas if not maintained.
Not covered: fading or staining from sunlight or other substances (the poly is UV-stabilized, not fade-proof), normal expansion and contraction with humidity and temperature, and scratches in the polyethylene.
