Description
The SUNCP-SEAR is a 10" wide high-heat searing grate that drops into one section of a Sunstone Ruby Series grill, the SUN13CPRO Companion Pro or the SUNCHSZ30IR hybrid grill. It can also sit on top of the standard cooking grates on most other gas grills.
The double-layer design uses channel tubes that spread burner heat evenly across a perforated surface. Sunstone rates the grate at over 700 degrees measured at the cooking surface rather than at the burner, which is the temperature that actually matters for a crust on a ribeye, burgers or vegetables.
