The Whistler Grills 42-Inch 5-Burner Gas Grill on Cart - CBF500CDC is the freestanding version of the CBB500: it ships as two pieces, the CBB500 built-in grill head and the matching CBB500 Cart, so you get the same 5-burner, 75,000 BTU cooking system without building an island. The cart is 304 stainless steel with double doors, a side shelf on each side, a paper towel rack, a propane tank holder inside, and universal casters that lock once the grill is where you want it.

It suits patios, decks and rentals where the grill may need to move, or as a first step before a full outdoor kitchen. The cart ships flat-packed and needs to be assembled. The grill head cooks on 760 sq. in. total cooking area with a ceramic infrared rear burner for rotisserie roasting, and the rotisserie kit, large heavy-duty smoker box and grill cover come included.

Building a masonry island instead? The CBB500 built-in is the same grill without the cart.
