Description
The Bromic Platinum Electric Marine Low Clearance Ceiling Recess Kit flush-mounts a heater in a ceiling cavity as small as 7.1 in. It fits within standard joists, which makes recessed heat possible in a remodel, and it is UL certified according to Bromic.
A built-in frame and cooling fan manage temperature in the cavity. The fan needs its own constant power supply, separate from the heater: 100-127V, 208V or 220-240V, under 1 A. Access to the cavity through the box is restricted, so plan the wiring and any controller location before fitting it.

Installation planning
- Installer: a licensed person must install it, and two people are needed.
- Structure: do not cut or notch joists, beams or rafters. Use at least 6 fasteners along the long edge, and at least 10 on timber members.
- Insulation: never cover the kit with insulation or similar material.
- Marine: land and coastal use only, not on marine craft.
