Description
The LuxCraft 4′ Plain Balcony Glider (4PPBAG) is a two-seat glider with a classic rollback back, built at balcony height: the seat is raised so it is easier to sit down and stand up, and an integrated footrest supports your feet while you glide. The seat is 48" wide and 18" deep, and the glider measures 55.5" W x 40.25" D x 41.5" H and weighs 135 lb.
Its understated Plain styling is designed to blend with existing decor, and the compact footprint suits patios, decks and porches. The glide runs on precision gliding components with stainless steel fasteners. LuxCraft lists no center console on the 4-foot model.
LuxCraft builds it in an Ohio Amish Country workshop from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) poly lumber that is over 90% recycled post-consumer material by weight. The color is UV-stabilized, and the poly resists moisture, splintering, warping and insects without staining, sealing or painting. For three people, see the 5′ Plain Balcony Glider (5PPBAG); for one, the 2′ Plain Balcony Glider Chair (2PPBAG). The same 4-foot balcony glider also comes with an Adirondack back (4APBAG) or a Classic back (4CPBAG), and the 4′ Plain Glider (4PPG) is LuxCraft's standard-height version.

Care: LuxCraft poly lumber needs no staining, sealing or painting. Brush off dirt and debris and rinse with a hose; for tougher stains, scrub gently with mild soap and water and rinse well. Avoid strong cleaners and harsh chemicals. LuxCraft recommends its Poly-Brite Cleaning Kit (PBCK); Poly-Brite 32 oz (POLBRI) is also sold on its own. In extreme conditions such as coastal areas, the stainless steel fasteners can rust if they are not maintained.
Warranty
LuxCraft gives a limited lifetime warranty for residential use and a 5-year limited warranty for commercial use, covering defective products or parts from the date of purchase. After inspecting the item and confirming an original defect, LuxCraft decides whether to repair or replace it; if the model is no longer made, it substitutes a product of similar performance and equal or greater value. The stainless steel fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the same period, but they can rust in extreme conditions such as coastal areas if not maintained.
Not covered: fading or staining from sunlight or other substances (the poly is UV-stabilized, not fade-proof), normal expansion and contraction with humidity and temperature, and scratches in the polyethylene.
