Description
The LuxCraft 4′ Plain Glider (4PPG) is a standard-height, two-seat poly lumber glider with a simple, timeless Plain-style back that LuxCraft says suits any outdoor occasion; add cushions or a throw to make it your own. The seat is 48" wide and 18" deep, and the glider measures 55.5" W x 30" D x 36" H and weighs 101 lb.
At 36" tall, its back sits lower than the 43" LuxCraft 4-foot Adirondack and Classic gliders. It glides smoothly on a stable frame with stainless steel fasteners, and LuxCraft designs it for porches, patios and garden areas. Choose a solid or two-tone color above.
LuxCraft builds it in an Ohio Amish Country workshop from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) poly lumber that is over 90% recycled post-consumer material by weight. The color is UV-stabilized, and the poly resists moisture, fading, splintering, warping and insects without staining, sealing or painting. For three people, see the 5′ Plain Glider (5PPG); for one, the 2′ Plain Glider Chair (2PPG). The 4-foot glider also comes with an Adirondack back (4APG) or a Classic back (4CPG), and the 4′ Plain Balcony Glider (4PPBAG) is the raised-seat version.
Before you order: check the 55.5" x 30" footprint and 101 lb weight against your porch or patio. LuxCraft does not publish the seat height or an assembly sheet for this model, and cushions are not included.

Placement and care

Care: LuxCraft poly lumber needs no staining, sealing or painting. Brush off dirt and debris and rinse with a hose; for tougher stains, scrub gently with mild soap and water and rinse well. Avoid strong cleaners and harsh chemicals. LuxCraft recommends its Poly-Brite Cleaning Kit (PBCK); Poly-Brite 32 oz (POLBRI) is also sold on its own. In extreme conditions such as coastal areas, the stainless steel fasteners can rust if they are not maintained.
Warranty
LuxCraft gives a limited lifetime warranty for residential use and a 5-year limited warranty for commercial use, covering defective products or parts from the date of purchase. After inspecting the item and confirming an original defect, LuxCraft decides whether to repair or replace it at no charge; if the model is no longer made, it substitutes a product of similar performance and equal or greater value. The stainless steel fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the same period, but they can rust in extreme conditions such as coastal areas if not maintained.
Not covered: fading, color change or staining from sunlight or other substances (the poly is UV-stabilized, not fade-proof), normal expansion and contraction with humidity and temperature, and scratches in the polyethylene. A claim must describe the original defect and include your name, address and phone number; for non-warranty repairs LuxCraft gives a written estimate before work begins.
