Description
The LuxCraft 4′ Plain Bench (4PPB) is a 48-inch poly lumber bench in LuxCraft's Plain style: a simple, understated seat for gardens, porches, patios and entryways that LuxCraft sizes to seat two people comfortably. It is Amish-made in LuxCraft's Ohio workshop from high-density poly lumber, with stainless steel hardware for structural reinforcement, as a low-maintenance alternative to a wood bench that will not crack, splinter or warp in sun, rain and temperature swings.
The bench measures 55" wide, 29" deep and 36" tall, with a 48" x 18" seat, and weighs 70 lb. Use it on its own or as part of a larger seating group, and choose a solid or two-tone color above.

Care: Brush off dirt and debris and rinse with a hose. For tougher stains, scrub gently with mild soap and water and rinse well. Avoid strong cleaners and harsh chemicals. LuxCraft recommends its Poly-Brite Cleaning Kit (PBCK); Poly-Brite 32 oz (POLBRI) is also sold on its own. In extreme conditions such as coastal areas, stainless steel hardware can rust if it is not maintained.
Warranty
LuxCraft gives a limited lifetime warranty for residential use and a 5-year limited warranty for commercial use, covering defective products or parts from the date of purchase. After inspecting the item and confirming an original defect, LuxCraft decides whether to repair or replace it at no charge; if the model is no longer made, it substitutes a product of similar performance and equal or greater value. Stainless steel fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the same period, but they can rust in extreme conditions such as coastal areas if not maintained.
Not covered: fading, color change or staining from sunlight or other substances (the poly is UV-stabilized, not fade-proof), normal expansion and contraction with humidity and temperature, and scratches in the polyethylene. A claim must describe the original defect and include your name, address and phone number; for non-warranty repairs LuxCraft gives a written estimate before work begins.
