Description
The LuxCraft 5′ Classic Swing (5CPS) is a 60-inch porch swing with a wide, bench-style seat and a high back, a look LuxCraft says feels equally at home beside a Colonial gazebo or on the porch of an Arts & Crafts bungalow. A flip-down center console with a shared armrest and cup holders makes it a two-seater; fold it up and it seats three.
The swing measures 65" wide, 27" deep and 31.5" tall, with a 60" x 18" seat, and weighs 64 lb. It comes standard with a 316-grade stainless steel chain; LuxCraft rates the chain on its porch swings at 800 lb per side.
LuxCraft builds it in an Ohio Amish Country workshop from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) poly lumber that is over 90% recycled post-consumer material by weight. The color is UV-stabilized, and the poly resists moisture, splintering, warping and insects without staining, sealing or painting. Hang it from a porch ceiling or set it on LuxCraft's A-Frame Vinyl Swing Stand (White, VAFW or Clay, VAFC), which LuxCraft says fits 4′ and 5′ swings. Before you order: allow for the 65" width and 64 lb weight where you hang it. LuxCraft does not publish hanging height, ceiling or joist requirements, seat height or assembly instructions for this model, so have the mounting point checked by a qualified installer.

Hanging and care

- LuxCraft does not publish hanging height, ceiling or joist requirements, or assembly instructions for this swing; have a qualified installer confirm the mounting point can carry the swing and its riders.
Care: LuxCraft poly lumber needs no staining, sealing or painting. Brush off dirt and debris and rinse with a hose; for tougher stains, scrub gently with mild soap and water and rinse well. Avoid strong cleaners and harsh chemicals. LuxCraft recommends its Poly-Brite Cleaning Kit (PBCK); Poly-Brite 32 oz (POLBRI) is also sold on its own. In extreme conditions such as coastal areas, stainless steel hardware can rust if it is not maintained.
Warranty
LuxCraft gives a limited lifetime warranty for residential use and a 5-year limited warranty for commercial use, covering defective products or parts from the date of purchase. After inspecting the item and confirming an original defect, LuxCraft decides whether to repair or replace it; if the model is no longer made, it substitutes a product of similar performance and equal or greater value. Stainless steel fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the same period, but they can rust in extreme conditions such as coastal areas if not maintained.
Not covered: fading or staining from sunlight or other substances (the poly is UV-stabilized, not fade-proof), normal expansion and contraction with humidity and temperature, and scratches in the polyethylene.
