Description
The Primo Cradle and Side Tables for the Oval XXL 500 (PG0179005) is a stand with side tables for Primo's largest oval charcoal grill, the Oval XXL 500 PGCXXLH. Primo lists it in its 2026 parts and accessories list as "Cradle and Side Tables for XXL", as a separate part. The grill is not included.
Choose it if you have an XXL head and want it on a mobile stand rather than in a counter or a wood table. Primo's cradles for its other grills are sturdy metal stands that roll on casters which lock at the front, and the side shelves on its All-In-One stands fold down for storage or transport; Primo does not publish those details for the XXL cradle itself, so ask us to confirm them. Plan ahead: the XXL head weighs 282 lb and stands nearly 43 in. tall with the lid open (Primo XXL spec sheet), so arrange two adults to lift it in, and lock the stand before lifting. Primo does not publish an assembly sheet, size, weight, material, caster layout or side-table details for the XXL cradle; ask us for them before you order.

Installation planning
- Assembly: Primo's published oval All-In-One assembly sheet covers the Junior, Large and XL cradles (7400/7500/7800) but not the XXL. Ask us for the XXL instructions with your order.
- Setting the grill in: Primo's oval unpacking instructions (PG1000596) call for two adults, one at each end, with one hand under and one behind the grill. Lock the stand's casters before lifting, never lift by the hinge assembly, and use the opened ash door as a lifting point only with heavy gloves. Then check both grill bands with a 5 mm hex key (do not overtighten).
- Placement: Primo's XXL spec sheet asks for 12 in. of space behind the grill so the lid can open fully (the grill is 42.875 in. tall with the lid open), and at least 2 in. around the outside of the grill.
- Rolling: if your cradle has locking casters, unlock them only to move the grill and lock them again before you light it.
Care: Primo's warranty asks owners to tighten bolts regularly; check the cradle and side-table fasteners from time to time. Weather, moisture, salt and chemicals can mark metal parts, so a cover helps when the grill is not in use.
Warranty
Primo Ceramic Grills' warranty page does not name its cradles. Its general terms give a limited 5-year rust-through warranty on metal parts other than cast iron and a limited 1-year rust-through warranty on cast iron parts and on "all other parts and accessories" unless stated otherwise, alongside the limited lifetime warranty on ceramic parts. Ask us to confirm which term applies to this cradle before you order.
Primo's conditions: coverage is for the original purchaser; the product must be installed according to Primo's instructions; keep a bill of sale or payment record. Weather, moisture, salt, scratches and chemicals can affect metal parts, and rust, fading, surface blemishes and oxidation are not covered unless they cause a part to fail. Replacement parts ship at the purchaser's expense. Not covered: damage from use, misuse, improper installation or storage, unauthorized service or parts, lack of maintenance (including not tightening bolts regularly), removal and reinstallation, service calls, labor, travel, diagnostic and freight charges. Claims go through your dealer with the model number and proof of purchase, or through Primo's online warranty claim form; international claims are not accepted.
