Description
The Summerset Resort 30-inch built-in gas grill (SBG30) is built for places where many people share one grill: condo and HOA patios, rentals, hotels and parks. Summerset designed it with no electrical power, heavy-duty anti-theft knobs and 9mm grates, and it is one of the models Summerset still warrants in commercial use.
Two stainless steel U-tube burners sit under 14-gauge flame tamers, inside #304 stainless steel with a double-lined hood. Ignition is a flame thrower with a manual flash tube. Choose natural gas or propane above.
For a freestanding setup, the same grill is sold on its pedestal cart, or add the pedestal on its own. For a combustible island, use the Resort grill liner.

Installation planning
- Cut-out: 28-3/4" W x 23-1/4" D x 10-1/4" H. Overall size: 30" W x 28" D x 25-1/2" H.
- Build it into a non-combustible island, or fit the grill liner for a combustible one.
- Clearances: at least 2" from a non-combustible wall or backsplash at the sides and rear; at least 10" from a protected combustible wall.
- Ventilation openings in the island must give a combined free area of at least 40 sq. in.
- Natural gas models use the supplied regulator set to 4" water column; propane needs a regulator set to 11" water column. Have a licensed gas fitter make the connection.
Warranty
Summerset (AMD Direct) Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty, non-prorated replacement parts: lifetime on construction and manufacturer defects, the stainless steel construction, cooking grates, burners, burner covers, valves and flame tamers; 3 years on all other parts and components. The Resort grill is one of the models Summerset covers in commercial, rental and multi-family installations, provided regular maintenance is kept up. Register the product with AMD Direct within 30 days of purchase to validate the warranty. It covers the original purchaser at the original site of delivery and ends if ownership transfers. Warranty claims supply replacement parts only, not labor, and the warranty does not cover discoloration, surface rust or corrosion from harsh, coastal or salt-air environments, or damage from improper installation, misuse or grease fires.
