Description
The Summerset Quest 30-inch built-in gas grill (QST30) is Summerset's top-line grill, and it ships with the accessories most grills sell separately: a drop-in griddle plate, smoker box, rib rack, rotisserie kit and grill cover.
2 #304 stainless steel U-tube burners at 18,000 BTU each and a 13,000 BTU angled infrared back burner give 49,000 BTU. The grates are 8mm square stainless steel over an easy-clean briquette system. A waterfall LED strip lights the front panel, halogen lights brighten the grates, and the knob bezels turn from white to red when a burner is on. Ignition is electronic with a manual flash tube backup. Choose natural gas or propane above.
For a combustible island, add the 30" Quest grill liner.

Installation planning
- Cut-out: 28-1/2" W x 19-3/4" D x 10-1/4" H. Overall size: 30" W x 26-5/8" D x 26" H.
- Build it into a non-combustible island, or fit the grill liner for a combustible one.
- Clearances: at least 4" from a non-combustible wall or backsplash at the sides and rear; at least 14" from a protected combustible wall.
- Summerset calls for at least one 4-inch vent at the top and one at the bottom of the island to keep air moving.
- The lights and electronic ignition run on the included transformer; plan an outdoor-rated outlet near the island.
- Natural gas models use the supplied regulator set to 4" water column; propane needs a regulator set to 11" water column. Have a licensed gas fitter make the connection.
Warranty
Summerset (AMD Direct) Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty, non-prorated replacement parts: lifetime on construction and manufacturer defects, the stainless steel construction, cooking grates, burners, burner covers, valves, flame tamers, heat zone separators, temperature gauges, hood springs and briquette systems; 3 years on all other parts, components and electrical, including LED bulbs, wire harness, switches, power source wire, transformer and interior halogen light. Register the product with AMD Direct within 30 days of purchase to validate the warranty. It covers the original purchaser at the original site of delivery and ends if ownership transfers. Warranty claims supply replacement parts only, not labor, and the warranty does not cover discoloration, surface rust or corrosion from harsh, coastal or salt-air environments, or damage from improper installation, misuse or grease fires.
