Collection: Blaze BCM & Prelude LBM Grills

The Blaze BCM grill is Blaze's streamlined 304 stainless steel built-in gas grill, made in 25 and 32-inch widths with 14,000 BTU cast stainless burners. It shares the Blaze Prelude LBM's cut-outs, and the BCM 32 replaces the LBM 32. Neither has lights or a rear burner, so the island needs a gas line but no electrical outlet.

What's in the BCM and Prelude LBM series

Both are no-frills built-in grills for backyards and shared settings, with a double-lined stainless steel hood, removable heat zone separators, flame-stabilizing grids, a full-width drip tray and Push N' Turn flame-thrower ignition with flash tube backup. The BCM improves on the LBM in four ways:

  • Burners: cast 304 stainless steel burners in place of the LBM's stainless tube burners, at the same 14,000 BTU each.
  • Grates: 9 mm triangular stainless steel rods in place of 8 mm round rods.
  • Flame tamers: stainless tri-baffle flame tamers.
  • Hood: integrated sound dampers so the hood closes without slamming.

Blaze adds 3-year multi-user coverage (apartments, condos, hotels and similar) to its lifetime residential warranty.

How to choose a Blaze BCM grill

  • Size: the 25-inch fits a compact island; the 32-inch adds a fourth burner.
  • Replacing an LBM: the BCM uses the same cut-out for the same width, so it drops into an existing LBM island.
  • No outlet needed: with no lights or electronics, the BCM suits islands without power.
  • Want rotisserie or lights? Step up to the Blaze Premium LTE+, which adds a rear infrared burner, interior lights and a hood-assist lid.

Blaze BCM and Prelude LBM FAQ

What is the difference between the Blaze BCM and the Prelude LBM?

The BCM 32 replaced the LBM 32, and both sizes keep the LBM's BTU and cut-out. The BCM swaps the tube burners for cast 304 stainless burners, 8 mm round rods for 9 mm triangular rods, and adds tri-baffle flame tamers and a sound-damped hood.

Does the Blaze BCM have a rear rotisserie burner?

No. The BCM and Prelude LBM have no rear burner and no grill lights. For a rotisserie burner, see the Premium LTE+, LTE PRO or Professional LUX.

Can the BCM be installed in a wood-frame island?

Only with a Blaze insulated jacket. The Blaze BCM manual requires a non-combustible enclosure or an insulated jacket, and does not allow installation under a combustible roof or overhang.

Can I convert a BCM from propane to natural gas?

Order the fuel you have. The Blaze BCM manual says conversion must be done only by a licensed gas professional, who fits new orifices on each burner and resets the regulator pin; natural gas runs at 4" water column.

What warranty does the Blaze BCM have?

Blaze gives a lifetime warranty on stainless components and flame stabilizers, lifetime (parts) on the main burners, grates, body and valves, and 1 year on ignition. Multi-user settings get 3 years on the housing, burners, grids, valves, liners and manifold. Register within 30 days.
