The 25-inch Prelude LBM on its cart has been replaced by the BCM 25 (BLZ-3BCM). Blaze has not yet listed the BCM 25 as a fit for the 25-inch cart, so ask us to confirm before ordering that pair. For the LTE PRO grills, add the matching LTE PRO cart (BLZ-4LTEPRO-CART-LTSC or BLZ-5LTEPRO-CART-LTSC) from Blaze grill carts.

What the carts include

The BCM and Premium LTE carts have two soft-close doors over a cabinet that holds a 20 lb propane tank, the grill cover and tools, two 11" x 22" stainless side shelves and four heavy-duty casters. The Professional LUX carts add two folding side shelves, two lighted drawers and a soft-close front door.

Where to place a freestanding Blaze grill

  • Keep 18" from combustible construction at the sides and back, per the Blaze manuals.
  • Never use the grill under a combustible roof or overhang. The Professional LUX manual also asks for 5" behind the grill for the lid and 6 feet below any overhead construction.
  • Models with grill lights need a GFI-protected 15-amp outlet. The BCM has no lights.
  • Propane models take one 20 lb cylinder. For natural gas, order the NG model and a hose such as the BLZ-NG-HOSE.

Blaze freestanding grill FAQ

Is a Blaze freestanding grill the same grill as the built-in version?

Yes. Each package pairs the same grill head Blaze sells for built-in use with its matching cart. You can lift the grill head out later and build it into an island cut to the manual's cutout.

What size propane tank fits in a Blaze grill cart?

The cart cabinet holds one standard 20 lb propane cylinder, which is what the Blaze manuals specify for propane models on a cart.

Can I use a Blaze freestanding grill on a covered patio?

Not under a combustible roof or overhang. The Blaze manuals require 18" from combustible construction at the sides and back, and the Professional LUX manual requires 6 feet of clearance to overhead construction.

Do the carts come assembled?

No. The carts ship for assembly with hand tools, and the Professional LUX manual says the grill head needs two people to lift into place.

Can I run a Blaze freestanding grill on natural gas?

Yes, if you order the natural gas (NG) model. A licensed gas professional should run the line and connect it, for example with the Blaze 10 ft quick-disconnect hose.
